Robert Opron, a brilliant artist of lines and a pioneering designer in the world of automobiles, remains unforgettable through his distinctive vehicle designs. His outstanding career, shaped by his work at renowned manufacturers such as Simca, Citroën, Renault, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo, not only revolutionized the automotive industry but also our perception of vehicles. Opron, whose design genius shaped generations of cars, contributed significantly to their commercial success and influenced numerous designers to this day.

The Amicale Robert Opron is dedicated to the legacy of this exceptional stylist and is now collaborating with the Conservatoire National de Véhicules Historiques to relocate the exhibition, previously shown at the Technikmuseum Speyer, to Diekirch. There, it will be presented on a larger scale from May 7, 2024, to May 11, 2025. The exhibition “Robert Opron – La tendresse de l’absolu,” named after a quote by Opron, invites visitors to immerse themselves in the world of his inspiring designs. Visitors can admire his iconic works and learn more about the creator of these automotive masterpieces.

The exhibition highlights various stages of his career and presents influential models that he designed or significantly shaped. We cordially invite you to participate in this unique event, which is not only a tribute to one of the greatest automotive designers of all time but also a journey through his remarkable creations.
