CNVH General Assembly: Review of 2024 & ambitious plans for 2025

The Conservatoire National de Véhicules Historiques hosted its ordinary general assembly this evening. In the presence of Dr. Paul Bonert, Cultural Alderman of the City of Diekirch, as well as a representative of the Syndicat d’Initiative de Diekirch and numerous members and friends of the CNVH, the activity reports, financial reports and the budget were presented and unanimously adopted.

Looking back on the past year, the CNVH can be proud of significant international collaborations, especially with the Amicale Robert Opron. These first cross-border partnerships mark an important milestone in the development of our museum.

As part of the assembly, Constant Muellesch, who is leaving the committee, was also bid farewell. As a sign of recognition for his time at the CNVH, the committee presented him with a small gift and thanked him for his contribution.

Another highlight was the honorable award of the FIVA Culture Award 2024 for our exhibition on the life, works and career of Robert Opron. This international recognition underscores the importance of our work in the field of automotive cultural history and motivates us to consistently continue on this path.

Looking ahead to 2025, we have set ourselves the goal of further expanding this international collaboration and establishing high-level, groundbreaking partnerships. Our members will be informed of these exciting developments over the course of the year.

In addition, 2024 was a year of investment, with which we secured the future of the CNVH and set new standards. The committee will maintain this course in order to further strengthen the museum. A valuable insight from this year: Only with targeted investments and the necessary passion can you achieve your goals!

At the end of the general assembly, the committee invited those present to a social gathering. With great confidence and enthusiasm, we look forward to the coming year – exciting projects await us!
